Designed to build on your previous business foundation course or HND, you’ll have the option to study across one or two years to achieve your BA in business administration – with the latter including a year-long industry work placement. You’ll develop the essential business and administration skills to work across a wide range of private and public sector companies and gain the confidence to apply your knowledge across all disciplines.

Covering all aspects of international business administration, you’ll also have the opportunity – through our dedicated workshops – to develop your business writing and professional communication skills to further enhance your CV.

English language requirements for international students

You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all components). We also normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. Visit our English language requirements page for a full list of accepted tests and qualifications. For some EU countries, we may be able to accept English language competency evidenced through your high school qualification. If you don't meet our minimum English language requirements, we offer an intensive pre-sessional English course.

What will you study on the BA International Business Administration (Top-up)?

Alongside building effective business skills you will develop your knowledge of organisations; their functions, structure and management. You will study the environment of international business encompassing different cultures and learn how stakeholders and partners engage in an international context.

Through structured modules you will learn to interpret business reports and evaluate performance, and build knowledge of key management tools and techniques within a global context. You will also select from a range of optional modules so you can tailor your studies to your interests.
