Leeds Trinity University

Leeds Trinity University is a public university in Horsforth, Leeds, in West Yorkshire. Its history goes back to 1966. It was formed through a 1980 merger and gained university status in 2012, with Roman Catholic roots and membership of the Cathedrals Group and MillionPlus. Students study at the Main Campus in Horsforth or the Leeds City Campus, and it is a smaller institution known for personalised support. 

Its strongest subjects are Journalism, Media, Law and Business. The MA Journalism has dual accreditation from the National Council for the Training of Journalists and the Broadcast Journalism Training Council, and Law students build practical experience through pro bono activity. Placements, internships and study abroad options run through the degrees, and 95% of full-time undergraduates were in employment or further study 15 months after graduating.
