Entry requirements for interantional students
Students who have a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE) will be required to complete our International Foundation Programme.
For entry to the International Foundation Programme, we would require an average of eight subjects at C6 and above. This must include subjects that are relevant to the degree programme.Â
You should have a minimum of Grade C6 in SSCE in the English language. If you cannot show that you have obtained this grade in English, then you can provide us with an IELTS or TOEFL qualification.
Postgraduate (Master)

ou should have a degree from a Ghanaian university with a high percentage or GPA.Â
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science-based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
The Business School has several conversion courses that accept students from any subject background.Â
Postgraduate (MBA)
You can apply for the MBA programme with an undergraduate degree in any subject area from an overseas institution and with three years minimum post-graduation managerial work experience.
English
- For entry into an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree a grade of C6 or higher is generally accepted from the English Language in the West African Secondary School Certificate in Education.
- For entry onto the MBChB a minimum grade of C4 in English Language in the West African Secondary School Certificate in Education is required.
Students who have the West African Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (WASSCE) will be required to complete a recognised foundation programme.
You should have a degree from a Nigerian university recognised by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC) and the specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Nigerian university from which you have graduated. In general applicants should have completed a Bachelors honours upper second-class degree.
