MSc Maritime Operations Management

LJMU's Maritime Operations Management MSc program offers a world-renowned research institute and essential contacts for future careers in shipping operations management. The program, located in Liverpool, is one of the few UK institutions offering this quality Masters programme. Students can pursue roles in consultancy, shipping company management, marine insurance management, ship broking, and ship management. The curriculum is informed by world-leading research and links with the regional Mersey Maritime cluster and the UK-wide maritime industry. Graduates can also enjoy exemptions from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers chartered membership examinations. The program also includes studies in law, port security management, and risk and asset management. The program is available as a 2-year (240 credit) option, combining 120 credits of taught modules with 60 credits of MSc project.
