LJMU's Construction Project Management Masters program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop professional and transferable skills required in the construction industry. Accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the program aims to produce self-reliant, versatile, and competent construction project managers. The program offers part-time, day-release study options for those already in employment, and direct entrance into the RICS APC professional training programme and CIOB PDP for those employed. The program is recognized by the Chartered Institute of Building with Accredited Centre status and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Partnering Establishment. The program increases exposure to current and emerging project management theories and practices, encourages risk management, provides collaborative and student-centered study, and offers clear career development opportunities. Entry Requirements


  • a minimum 2:2 honours degree in a cognate subject area.

  • an equivalent professional qualification with appropriate work experience


  • IELTS English language requirement: 6.5 (minimum 5.5 in each component)
