This highly practical course has been designed with the future in mind. Taking into consideration growing disciplines such as artificial intelligence, you will study several defined business areas that reflect the ever-changing needs of the market. These include modules such as Digital Transformation and Innovation in Business and Ethical and Responsible Leadership.

Employability is at the heart of our Business Management course. Alongside the opportunity of a year-long placement, you will also work on integrated case studies, which will allow you to hear from and gain insight into global brands such as Apple and Amazon. You will step away from the confines of your textbooks and apply your theoretical knowledge to practical business simulations set by executives from these global businesses.

You will receive an excellent grounding in all aspects of business management, incorporating knowledge from a range of disciplines such as accounting, economics, finance, human resource management, marketing, and sustainability.

  • The Contemporary Issues in Sustainable Business module will help you develop the attitudes, abilities, knowledge, and behaviors that will enable you to contribute to the creation of a just, peaceful, and sustainable world.

Entry Requirements

  • A typical offer is 112 UCAS points. You need to study at least two subjects at A Level or equivalent (eg BTEC)

Plus, five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language and Maths

Alternative qualifications include:

  • Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent)

English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade 4

We will normally require students to have had a break from full time education before undertaking the Access course

  • International Baccalaureate: 26+ Points
  • If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) when you start the course is essential.

Course Details

You will be instructed using a mix of lectures, tutorials, seminars, group projects, and independent study. The amount of assessment and the weighting of assessments varies between modules. Exams, essays, reports, portfolios of learning, and presentations are just a few examples of assessment.
